This was a great read! I’m wondering, though, if there is room to include different types of feminism: black feminism, queer feminism, etc. into your argument. The women’s movement has been heavily criticized for focusing only on white feminism and our failure to understand the impact that intersecting oppressions have on individuals. As white women (speaking for myself) we carry immense privilege (which is why a lot of your comments include individuals stating that they *already have* a perceived equality in their social and civil lives); I think that this piece operates as a great space to start raising the voices of other women who carry a different lived experience.
